Okay, so you love the idea of ditching the gym and getting an awesome workout in the great outdoors, but how is it done? How do you put together a workout that includes both cardio and strength moves? Where's the equipment? And what's the best way to find workout buddies? 
No worries. We have all the answers!

First, See  a  Doctor

Anyone new to physical fitness, those with injuries or health conditions should consult a physician before embarking on a Free Range Fitness Program. Free Range Fitness is a DIY activity, and as such, requires that you become educated about your own strenghts and limitations; and about proper exercise technique. 

Heed  Safety  Precautions

  • Bring identification
  • Warm up at the beginning of your workout.
  • Stay abreast of crime warnings in your neighborhood.
  • Work out with a buddy.
  • Bring identification with you.
  • Wear a headlamp and reflective clothing when working out in the dark.
  • Carry your cell phone in case you need help.
  • Dress for the weather. Sunscreen, sunglasses, layers, hat and gloves...
  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Cool down at the end of your workout.
  • If something hurts, stop!
